My studio is in a traditional house in the southeast of Gran Canaria, in the historic center of Villa de Ingenio, where the handicrafts of weaving and openwork embroidery are deeply rooted. Near to my own workshop alone, there were at least seven looms I know of, and it fills me with pride to be one of the crafts people ensuring the tradition continues to this day.

For me, Ingenio is synonymous with blue skies and palm trees swaying in the wind. The old town is located about four hundred meters above sea level, and its picturesque and winding streets invite you to stroll and wander around, and, at a very short distance from the town, you can enjoy stunning views of the impressive Guayadeque ravine.

In this town, in my studio, designed by an interior designer of international fame, I have fulfilled a dream that I would like YOU to realize too.
